These terms explain the rules for using PokerX at holdem-online.com (the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. Who can play (18+)

The Site is for people aged 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live, whichever is higher. If you are younger, you must not use the Site.

2. Play money only

• PokerX is a free game for entertainment. Chips are virtual play money.
• Chips have no cash value. They can not be bought, sold, traded, transferred or withdrawn, and they can never be exchanged for money, prizes or anything of real-world value.
• The Site is not real-money gambling. We do not take deposits and we do not pay out.
• Playing for free does not mean you will win at real-money games.
• Do not use the Site, its chips or its rooms to run any real-money betting. That includes betting on outcomes with side payments. If we find it, we can remove the players involved.

3. Your guest profile

You do not need to sign up. The Site gives your browser a guest profile that saves your name, avatar and chips. If you clear your browser data you may lose the profile. We do not promise that chips or profiles will be kept, and we may reset or change chip balances, rewards and limits to keep the game fair or for maintenance.

4. Fair play

Do not:

• cheat or exploit bugs, or tell others how to do so (please report bugs to us instead);
• use bots, scripts, automation, solvers or any software that plays or helps you play in real time;
• collude with other players, share your cards or play together to take chips from others, or enter several accounts at the same table;
• try to get chips by using extra profiles, abusing bonuses or interfering with the free spin, missions or bonus chips;
• attack, overload, scan or try to break into the Site or its servers, or interfere with other players' connections.

The house bots at official tables are run by us and always use a robot avatar. They are part of the Site and are not cheating.

5. Chat and behavior

Chat is limited to premade phrases and reactions. Be respectful. Do not harass, threaten, hate or spam other players, and do not use names or avatars that are offensive, impersonate someone, or advertise something. Hosts of private rooms may remove players from their own rooms.

6. Bans and removal

We can warn, restrict or ban any player, guest profile or access token, remove chips, close rooms or block access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, if we think these terms were broken or the Site or its players are at risk. If you think a ban was a mistake, contact us.

7. Ads and third-party services

The Site is free because it shows advertising. Ads come from third-party networks, such as Adsterra and Google, and are clearly labeled "Advertisement". Ads are not endorsed by us, and we are not responsible for what advertisers offer or for other websites you reach through them. The Site also uses analytics and advertising measurement tools. Please read our Privacy Policy for how cookies and data are handled. Please do not click ads by mistake or in bulk to help us: it is not allowed by the ad networks.

On the game page we may ask you to turn off an ad blocker. We do it because ads pay for the servers.

8. Our content

The Site, its design, code, artwork and text belong to us or our licensors. You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial play. Do not copy, resell or scrape it, or build a competing service from it.

9. No warranty

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without promises of any kind. We do not promise that it will always work, be free of errors, keep your chips, or have no interruptions. We may change, pause or close the Site, or any of its features, at any time.

10. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss or damage from using the Site, including lost chips, lost progress or downtime. Because chips have no real value, you can not claim money for them. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have by law that can not be limited.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top. If you keep using the Site after that, you accept the new terms.
